The Goochland Tea Party is conducting multiple relief drives to help the folks who were devastated by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
The VATP needs to be a major part of this effort and help the Goochland Tea Party. They have made 2 trips with a 26’ straight truck and are working on another. They are operating where folks live in tents and have no power. These are Americans who have lost everything but their lives and struggle on a daily basis. They live on hope!
As your Chairman I am asking you to donate and/or select from the list below and bring to our November 23 Summit meeting. Just bring items to the front of the hotel. We will have a pick up truck on site. Let’s fill the truck. Together we have the strength and opportunity to make a huge difference in their lives.
Here is what they need:
1 lb. propane tanks / picks, shovels & steel rakes / non perishable food / Little Buddy Heaters / long underwear / sleeping bags
sweat pants & shirts / blankets / socks / work gloves / bleach / tarps / detergent in small containers / bras / folding chairs & tables
sleeping cots / fuel for chain saws / adult cold medicine / senior depends / ensure / solar lanterns / propane grills.
