VA License Plates
It’s Time To Get Your New
“DON’T TREAD ON ME”
Virginia Car License Plates
The TIME IS NOW – Don’t wait or it may be too late!
The citizens of Virginia will soon be able to express their support for smaller government and protest the Federal Government’s intrusion into the affairs of private citizens.
How? With license plates that make a statement!
At the recent Virginia Tea Party convention, 912 Richmond Va, gathered over 475 signatures in support of the issuance of a special license plate bearing the legend “DON’T TREAD ON ME”.
On October 14, 2010, HOUSE BILL NO. 1418 was filed to start the process of establishing this special plate as an official Virginia license plate. Once the bill is passed by the general assembly and signed into law by the Governor the plates will be produced.

Are those plates made from a metal called “irony”? Do you all not see the laughable contradiction of demanding that the central government you rail against grant you special recognition. And even if you can reconcile that disparate reality, how can you feel comfortable paying extra for a state-issued form of government identification that is used to track you and your vehicle?
Rather than “Don’t Tread on Me,” the slogan on the new tag should read, “Allow me to identifiy myself as someone who just doesn’t get it.”
Sorry, liberal Ed, but last I checked this is still a country where we have freedom of speech. Go hug a tree or Obama.
Mr Ed should stay in the barn! I know you leftists don’t think that we have any rights to free speech since our opinions reflect those of our nations founders–NOT Marx, Stalin, Obama, etc…but too bad little Eddie!!! I really hope that seeing all of those new plates on cars that you probably think are destroying the ozone, and are created by evil capitalist for profit, makes you crazier than an Obama supporter!
