You know that America’s entitlement culture is out of control when an avalanche of free phones and wireless service are available in the scope discussed here. This is available right here in Virginia through “Assurance Wireless“, funded via the federal Universal Service Fund.
As detailed in the video, the program is being abused and is now FAR outside the scope of original intent (gee, I bet no one saw THAT coming!). So shut-up and pay your taxes, as you owe it to your neighbor.
