Is House Leader Cantor getting weak-kneed on tax hikes? WHY can’t our politicians communicate a CONSERVATIVE vision? The proper answer is “we don’t have a revenue problem”. We don’t need to increase taxes; we need the republican house to actually grow a spine and reduce spending.
Let’s not forget that he helped build the dreaded fiscal cliff where we now sit. Perhaps if the House had shown an ounce of fortitude we wouldn’t be in this situation where we’re discussing this at all. More revenue will just be consumed by the insatiable federal beast…this is all just political theater to make you believe that they are actually doing anything. Both parties want to spend. And spend. And spend.
