The Jefferson Area Tea Party is a non-partisan organization comprised of patriots who champion its core principles of Constitutionally Limited Government, Adherence to the Constitution, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Enterprise, and Personal Liberty with Personal Responsibility. We encourage education and political activism in the cause of these principles, and hold elected officials to account for abuses to the same.
The JATP is based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our philosophy and political agenda is to restore the legacy of this area’s two most famous residents: Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence, and James Madison, the Father of the Constitution.
