We have been witnessed to an astonishing passage of historic events throughout this century. This past year has been especially extraordinary and quite the ride. One for the ages. It seems like decades that we have been subjected to one incredible historic event after another in short stretches of time. These historic landmarks that seem to be deposited on us on a daily basis, are threatening to become our new normal. This past year, incredibly, has witnessed the flow of history going from a what has been a torrent escalating to fearsome rapids. This past year has been a Loch Ness monster ride of historic and iconic proportions. Now, we are at the end of significant things. Things that are toxic and nation ending for any country are hopefully on the verge of being banished to the dust bin of history. Now, for our great nation, we must restore a republic that has been lost and gone since Jan 6th, 2021 on the rising backs of “We the People” and rid ourselves of the real serious and powerful enemies within our hallowed halls of power.
As we enter 2025, restoring our Republic becomes front and center. The horrific damage inflicted by the left will be undone. But it is not enough to undo the damage. The opening of our borders, the punishing inflationary policies, the de-fund the police movement, and the radical green new scam must be eradicated. The racist and destructive DEI policies that are eroding all that is good from industry, our military readiness, and crippling governmental hiring and promotion practices has no place in America. Our children’s welfare and innocence have been targeted by really sick people who are dangerous on their own, but to give them power endangers our children and our future as a great nation. The power of the courts to destroy political opponents and their supporters (J-6 & Trump charges) must not only end but those responsible for these abuses of power or who acted unlawfully must be held to account. Nuremberg style trials are needed for this can lead to a host of corrupt judges and prosecutors. But above all, this much must be made clear, those who acted unethically or criminally must be exposed and prosecuted. We cannot have these abuses of power become an endless loop where we are fighting this same insane battle from here to eternity. It ends now with naming the bad guys, firing up investigations and taking strong criminal legal action.
The Virginia Tea Party will stand with a coalition of good groups and natural allies to support getting the job done. We will work in concert with our friends to provide Trump with political cover. The VATP will write up a series of resolutions spotlighting the aforementioned issues and send them to the incoming FBI, Homeland Security, Dept of Justice and Dept of Education lending our voices in support of the Trump agenda.
These are exciting and heady times. It is also our time to lay out those who have so harmed our nation and our body politic. It is time to do what we set out to do all those years ago, when the Tea Party burst into the national stage with the determination and resolve to defend and protect our Republic. Since 2009, that has been our sacred mission. In 2025, we finish it and with a job well done, we may just be able to restore our Republic. Stay Engaged! Stay Connected! Stay the Course! We are so close to the finish line. Let’s finish it strong for our nation, for our Republic and for our future as a free and powerful nation.
