America. 250 years of blood, sweat and tears. Born within a covenant with our Creator and on bloody battlefields against impossible odds. We are 250 years of sacrifice and courage. WE are 250 years of striving for a more perfect union through our own very human imperfections. And after 250 years, the state of our union remains strong. We are strong even though our founding fathers had serious doubts we would last much beyond their lifetime. Here we are at year 250, but the tea party was founded even before America was. That tea party emerged as a powerful counter to growing tyranny. And it is fitting that the present-day tea party with its own terrible trials against a tyrannical government, will present its own heartfelt salute to our Republic and to the soul of a nation that has persevered and prospered through the centuries. This has been a great legacy of our Republic and it is fitting that our tea party celebrates and honors this milestone for our nation in our own tea party style.
On June 20th, 2026, the Virginia Tea Party will host our own celebration of America in her 250th year. We will meet at the Sheraton Airport Hotel and will look to usher in an event infused with fellowship and patriotism. This is the best of times to gather old and new under one roof. From tea party winter warriors who have stayed the course over the years to fleeting sunshine patriots, from returning old friends to newly arrived patriots, we will embrace all for the Republic that had been so recently lost and has now been miraculously brought back from the brink. This summit is for you and hopefully before its done, new friendships will be forged and old alliances strengthened.
So, let’s lift a glass of tea to a nation that has forged a beautiful legacy of freedom and charity. We have had a great nation because we have been blessed with good people. America 250 is our ode to that legacy for which we are proud and to which we will strive to honor through the ages to come. This is our time to enjoy the good of Americans and the greatness of America. WE have spent our share of time battling the darkness. On June 20th, we will celebrate the light of America as Americans. Our speakers are all unique and nationally acclaimed. Xi Van Fleet who grew up under the despotic rule of Mao and now has brought her story of fighting for freedom and countering the seductive tactics of the left to the national stage. Her story and message is powerful. Mark Mix is the President of Right to Work. His mission is to fight to protect our free markets and protect Americans right to work. It is a vital message in America. It is especially critical in Virginia as that right is being threatened by the radical left. Ned Ryun has been nationally acclaimed and a respected voice on the national stage. He is the founder of American Majority and a priceless friend to the tea party since its inception. He will bring winning strategies to take back Virginia to the fore front with his unique engaging flair. Their message will empower and their stories will inspire. We will have a performance capturing the spirit of Patrick Henry in his inspiring Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death speech that informed and inspired a revolution. The day will be powerful. It will also be fun. Join us for this special summit and help us celebrate America and embrace our American heritage.
