Can you lie to all the people all the time and still come out on top? Can you get away with saying one thing and then once in power, abandon your platform and still remain credible? Can you go against your political, economic and domestic policy to embrace issues that you never publicly campaigned on and still be trusted? Can you do all of this without a massive backlash? Gov. Spanberger and the Democrats believed that they could.

In 2025, Virginia Governor Spanberger and the radical Virginia Democrats rolled the dice on just being able to push through all manner of evils. Evils that they did not run on. Do you remember Spanberger and the Democrats running for massive tax increases, hikes on service and business fees, increased spending, lawless cities where illegal aliens can find protection, extreme abortion measures, and infringements on our constitutional rights from parental rights, to right to life to 2nd amendment rights. No.  In fact, they ran on being ‘moderate and on affordability”.  Then once elected, they abandoned those positions and drove policies hard left, right off the cliff.

As an example of their toxic positions, they have imposed policies in support of lawless municipalities where it is increasingly difficult for law enforcement to arrest and have convictions of criminals and illegal aliens can find sanctuary for criminal enterprises. Nothing captures this pivot to the extreme left than the Democrat’s initiative to change our Constitution with 4 amendments. These amendments were not spoken on or a major part of their campaign, but they immediately were thrust to the center stage by Spanberger and her Democrat minions. The amendment that they immediately and illegally rushed through to corrupt the vote beginning this year was to rig our elections through redistricting. And despite their own attorneys making clear that what they were doing was illegal breaking multiple laws and the state constitution, they brazenly proceeded with the resolution taking solace in that they, as Democrats wouldn’t be held accountable to the law.  There was never any campaign promise to rig our elections in favor of incumbent Democrats and yet they spent close to 90 million dollars in this effort. Even so, they barely won the referendum. Their ace in the hole; the state Supreme Court is appointed by the legislature that, of course, is controlled by the Democrats. Anyone for a heavy dose of conflict of interest? Even before this compromised court, the profound illegality of their action, resulted in the court throwing out the referendum affirming it as, in fact, illegal.

The other 3 pending amendments are almost as despicable. One leads to the unrestricted killing of unborn babies, the other, same sex marriage and the threat to our churches and pastors who may face legal consequences for honoring their conscious and their faith, and the last one, the automatic restoration of voting rights to felons. The party of lawlessness leaves no stone unturned.

So, it is no wonder that Gov. Spanberger has received the lowest rating among all governors in Virginia history and the rest of our Democrats may not be far behind.

So, we are faced with a Democrat party in transition and at war with itself. It is not between moderates and radicals. It between liars about their extreme and radical agenda who like Spanberger, will run as being a moderate but govern radically and those who truthfully run as radical socialists openly professing their extreme and toxic positions. There are no conservatives or moderates among Democrats in power. Those decent American Democrats have been purged out by radical junk yard dogs who have taken over the Democrat Party and are now dragging it and our society towards communism. And this bunch of radicals have made it clear that they are gunning for us and that they have no allegiance to our Republic or our Constitution. They have embraced violence, murder, rioting and assassination. They are working with our enemies and they are a threat to America. They are merging with the Democrat Party that’s also radical but not as open about it or as extreme. We have over the last decade worked to find a good middle ground with these people without success. We can find no common ground with them ever.

The mid-term elections are coming. It is truly a dangerous time for our nation as we witness the left take off their masks with promises to eviscerate our Republic under the jack boots of socialism and lawlessness. We need to speak to our friends, family, neighbors, church members on countering the left and on restoring good governance.  And we can’t do that if these Democrats continue to be in power. Friends and family do not let friends and family vote Democrat.  The politics of deception and extremism must be dealt a fatal blow. And this election is the time for a strong backlash on behalf of all of us and for our hopes for a shinning American future, beginning here in Virginia where our Republic began.
