We held our quarterly summit meeting today at the Crowne Plaze Hotel in downtown Richmond, with leadership from all across the state coming together to share information and develop strategies. As a conservative activist, sometimes its very depressing and disheartening to see the volume of funding against which we are fighting. Relying solely on donations and self-funding by our coordinator team, we’re always one wrong step away from being in perilous financial hardship (more so than...

I know that lots of tea party folks like Governor Mike Huckabee, but he’s actually not so great of a politician… his record as governor has some serious problems. I’ve always seen him (in my opinion) as a shyster…a used car salesman-type (no offense to ETHICAL used car salesm...

By |2018-05-23T00:02:47-04:00August 10th, 2014|Categories: Featured|Tags: |

In the latest copy of the Chesterfield Monthly magazine (print and online), there was a multi-page spread discussing the Dave Brat win over Eric Cantor and the general activist-machine across the Richmond area. Also covers items like the Chesterfield comprehensive plan and the meals tax. A good read, but with a leftward slant here-and-there. Whether recent history is a precursor of things to come – or the conservative message falls on deaf ears in coming elections – is anyone’s guess. [...]

A Letter to Virginia Republicans

By |2019-05-11T16:12:05-04:00May 17th, 2014|Categories: Featured|Tags: , , |

Read it all below: Where is the condemnation? As a member of the Republican Party of Virginia’s State Central Committee, l am learning that some Republicans resemble chameleons. The Republican Creed of Virginia is ignored. The carrot of power is sought as principle replaces pragmatism. Honesty is not their best policy. Giving or raising money [...]
