We held our quarterly summit meeting today at the Crowne Plaze Hotel in downtown Richmond, with leadership from all across the state coming together to share information and develop strategies. By |2018-05-23T00:02:46-04:00August 29th, 2014|Categories: Featured|Tags: , |

Actions speaks louder than words….that’s the message that the St. Louis Tea Party wanted to communicate to the businesses (and families) of Ferguson Missouri, where riots following a police shooting had rocked that town. Tea Parties show their strength and can share their message more su...

DOJ To Give Money From Bank Of America Settlement To Liberal Activist Groups

By |2018-05-23T00:02:46-04:00August 29th, 2014|Categories: Featured, Government|Tags: , , , |

As a conservative activist, sometimes its very depressing and disheartening to see the volume of funding against which we are fighting. Relying solely on donations and self-funding by our coordinator team, we’re always one wrong step away from being in perilous financial hardship (more so than...

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Affordable Care Act gives the president’s cabinet officers sweeping powers to implement the law, but the administration managed to overreach these powers by allowing people in 36 states to illegally access health insurance subsidies. That was the conclusion of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in July. At issue is the […]

The biggest “unforeseen” issue arising with the poorly named Affordable Care Act is its effect on affordability of care.  The typical middle-class family, in order to afford the broader coverage necessitated by ObamaCare, is having to choose a higher and higher deductible insurance plan.  This is having a huge impact on a patient’s decision even […]

Chesterfield Monthly Profiles Richmond-Area Activism

By |2018-05-23T00:02:47-04:00August 10th, 2014|Categories: Featured|Tags: |

In the latest copy of the Chesterfield Monthly magazine (print and online), there was a multi-page spread discussing the Dave Brat win over Eric Cantor and the general activist-machine across the Richmond area. Also covers items like the Chesterfield comprehensive plan and the meals tax. A good read, but with a leftward slant here-and-there. Whether recent history is a precursor of things to come – or the conservative message falls on deaf ears in coming elections – is anyone’s guess. [...]
