Republican Party of Virginia Selects Primary Over Convention for 2016
The Republican Party of Virginia SCC (State Central Committee) voted today to hold a primary instead of a nominating convention for 2016. This also means that Virginia’s ultimate republican candidate could win the nomination with only a fraction of the vote, since there will be so many candidates running.
